There can be some uneasiness about attending morning worship services in a new church. The whole environment is new and you don’t know quite what to expect. Here’s some of what you can expect when you attend our morning worship service.
Morning Worship Service
Our morning worship service at GBC generally lasts 75-90 minutes. There is always a friendly face to greet you as you come in. Our music consists of both worship choruses and the great hymns of the faith. Prayer has always been and continues to be a staple of our ministry here and is a part of all that we do. Beyond the routine places you find prayer in a church service, we dedicate time weekly to focusing on persecuted believers worldwide and interceding for them through prayer.
Our preaching and teaching are expository in nature with a mix of both verse-by-verse (book) during the school year and topical studies during the summer. Our goal is always, as the Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 4, to equip the saints for ministry and build up the body so that we might grow together toward greater spiritual maturity.
Our people dress anywhere from shorts and a t-shirt to a suit and tie. We encourage you to stay and enjoy some coffee or juice and a goodie while meeting some of the friendly people of Grace.
What About My Children?
Our children generally join their parents for the morning service. Activity bags are available for active youngers as well as our nursery area for them to unwind. During the school year, there is often children’s church available as well for our 4k-4th graders. We have a staffed nursery available to children ages 0-3 years old. After the morning service, children are encouraged to be a part of our Sunday School classes.
When Do We Meet?
Grace Bible Church meets every Sunday at 9:00 am at our location on 300 Neugent Street in Adell for our morning worship service. Our Practical Bible Instruction (Sunday School) hour follows this and is from 10:45-11:45 am.
