The youth of GBC will be leading the service.  They will be leading the body in praise and worship, Scripture reading, and prayer.  The youth are the future of the church.  Youth Sunday is a change for us each year to train our young people and give them the change to use the talents God has gifted them with for serving the body of Christ.  This year we will also be challenging the people of GBC with an interesting skit.…

We are beginning our new “Measure of a Man” study by Gene Getz.  To kick it off we will be having breakfast together at 8 AM.  We will be also setting up study times.  Be sure to come and enjoy some great fellowship as well as find out what this new study is all about.  Looking forward to growing together a men of this local body of Christ.

We meet every other week here at the building.  We spend some time each week in fellowship, have some good food together, and games.  The focus of the night though is our study time as we dig deeply into the Word of God.  Our subject and content vary each week.  Sometimes we are doing a study.  Some nights we simply spend time answer the current questions of our young people about life and relate that back to the principles and…

Those who are a part of the Amazing Grace skit have practice at 4:30 pm.  At 5:30 pm we will be practice our music for Youth Sunday.  This week we will need our singers as well.  See you there.

We will be completing our study on finances this week.  Come find out what remaining principles we can glean from God’s Word about this important subject as we conclude our study.

This is the final practice before Youth Sunday on 2/22.  Skit practice for Amazing Grace is at 4:30 pm and music practice will be at 5:30 pm.

Join us for our annual ladies retreat.  Our topic and theme this year will be “Accountability” and our guest speaker will be Tamara Vetter with New Tribes Mission.  You can join us for both Friday and Saturday or one or the other if time prohibits you from making it to the whole weekend.  We would love for you to be involved either way as your schedules permit.  For questions about the event or to sign up, please contact the church office.

We are currently working through David Ramsey’s study “Generation Change” which focus on finances and prepares teenagers to not only be wise with their money now but lays down principles that will guide them the rest of their lives. We will begin the evening with music practice (@ 5 PM) in preparation for Youth Sunday on February 22, 2015.  Be sure to bring your instruments and best singing voices.

Bring your favorite soup to share with others.  We will be eating at 5:00 pm and our annual congregational meeting will follow at 6:00 PM.

We are commanded to observe and remember the death of Christ which resulted in our salvation.  And so through the elements of the cup and the bread we remember.  We remember that blood was needed for the forgiveness of sins.  We remember a body broken beyond reckoning for us.  We remember Jesus Christ who made our salvation possible and the new life that we have through faith in Him and Him alone.

Join us as we remember the first coming of the Messiah and the salvation that we have through Jesus if we have placed our faith in Him and His work for that.  It will be an evening of singing, reflection, special pieces, and remembering the amazing truths of the Word of God.

Join us for this special Sunday service as we look back over the year and celebrate the blessings of God giving Him thanks and praise for how we have seen Him work in our lives, our communities, and our world.  After the service, we will have a delicious thanksgiving meal and enjoy a special time of fellowship with one another.

Eugene grew up in the former Soviet Union, has lived in Israel since 1991, and served in both the SU and Israeli armies. He became a believer while in Israel and graduated Moody Bible Institute in 2007 and then went on to receive his MA in Biblical Archaeology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He currently works with Chosen People Ministries and is doing a HUGE work in Israel in the Russian Jewish community as well as leading a food distribution…
