Ever remember your parents saying phrases to you as a kid like: learn from my example or follow my example or don’t make the same mistakes I did or just very simply watch and learn. God have given us examples in our lives, many godly men and women, from whom we can learn many valuable life lessons. The same is true of the Scriptures. There are many men and women who are examples to us and from their examples, we can extra timeless principles for our lives. For the next several months, we will be looking at the life of David, and what we can learn from his triumphs of faith, his horrific blunders, and just how he lives before God. Pay close attention and find out what you can learn from his life as well as those around you can God has placed in your life to be an example to you.
